چکیده

This review examines the issues of ex situ conservation Rubus L. genetic resources in world’s genebanks and various institutions different countries. The most urgent among studied problems are preserving interspecific intraspecific diversity its sustainable utilization breeding programs. main attention is paid to pomologically important subgenera – raspberries Idaeobatus Focke (= Batidaea (Dumort.) Greene) blackberries Eubatus Focke).Detailed information provided on composition size field, vitro cryogenic collections as well seed collections. Specific features conserving genus’s types analyzed. Information genus preserved Russian Federation, unavailable international databases, summarized. Particular collection held by N.I. Vavilov All-Russian Institute Plant Genetic Resources (VIR), including history formation current state.VIR’s clonal genebank currently preserves 359 accessions L., belonging mainly (Idaeobatus) (Rubus): 209 these maintained field collection, 150 collection. Raspberry cultivars developed through dominate VIR 170 accessions, which 126 have been released domestic breeders.
